Position: Industrial Hygiene Professional Salary Range: $70,000 - $100,000 Location: San Diego, Orange, or Los Angeles Counties, California - Were open to candidates from outside the area and offer relocation assistance! Industry: Science Technical What You'll Do: Field and Office Work: Engage in industrial hygiene and safety tasks across various environments. Sample Collection & Assessments: Collect and analyze noise, air, water, and material samples, ensuring safe exposure levels and air quality. Data & Safety Audits: Support safety planning with data analysis and facility audits. Mold and Hazard Surveys: Conduct assessments on mold, asbestos, lead, and other hazards. Disaster Response: Assist in emergency responses to natural disasters. Reporting & Safety Compliance: Keep thorough records and ensure safe practices on all projects. Established & Expanding Join a 1,500+ employee national firm with over 50 locations across the U.S. What We Need from You: Driving Requirements A valid drivers license, clean driving record, and access to a personal vehicle. Educational Foundation A BS degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Toxicology, or a related field, along with a solid grasp of relevant regulations. Professional Certification Current California Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) certification (CAC preferred). Field Experience At least 2 years performing asbestos, lead paint, and mold surveys, with hands-on abatement oversight. EHS Expertise Additional experience in EHS services such as worker exposure and risk assessments, air quality studies, legionella investigations, noise monitoring, and more. Self-Sufficiency Able to work efficiently under the general guidance of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH). Communication Skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with team members, clients, and key partners. Reporting Proficiency Skilled in crafting accurate, concise, and comprehensive reports, delivering actionable conclusions and recommendations. Growth Mindset Eager to expand your expertise with certifications, ongoing education, and cross-training in areas like compliance audits, stormwater inspections, Phase I ESAs, and soil sampling.
