Robert Half Human Resources Analyst in San Diego, California


A financial services company in Mission Valley San Diego is seeking an Human Resources Business Process Analyst to support their organization for a project based role. This position starts immediately and the project should last through December.

Some of the responsibilities include creating and/or updating business process documentation to effectively outline HR workflows in areas such as Benefits, Compensation, Shared Services, and Talent Acquisition. This will include gathering requirements, creating/updating process mapping, analyzing the processes, recommending improvements, creating a shared nomenclature and organizing the documentation for use.

How you will make an impact:

  • Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally and interact effectively with HR senior leaders, management, HR team members, and other personnel to ensure alignment of requirements, goals, and expectations.

  • Collaborate closely with all HR functions to perform process flow mapping, identify issues and opportunities, collect and analyze documentation, analyze processes, identify alternatives, make recommendations, and work with the functions to implement process changes as needed.

  • Serve as a process consultant / advisor as needed and share process improvement methodologies.


  • 5+ years of HR experience desired

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (including Excel, Visio and MS Project)

  • Process improvement / management skill; project management.

  • Excellent planning, time management, communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.

  • Quick learner with the ability to balance competing tasks.
