Summary You will serve as an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will analyze and evaluate outage request from the regional outage coordinator and review for completeness, accuracy and compliance with existing policies. You will review facilities support work plans and specifications for requirements of outages, lay down areas, and closures. You will assist in the development of business case analysis used to plan and coordinate current and or future course of action from among a number of alternatives related to the utilities/facilities support. You will compile previous data, analyze, cases and assists in presentation to customers of data/proposals to support selected courses of action/impact to facilities during scheduled outages or facilities support. You will draft Naval Messages, official memorandums, and correspondences to promulgate utilities outages and road/parking closure.
