Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Engineering Supervisor to oversee a security engineering team in San Diego. This person will be responsible for leading the team of 6 engineers that supports an enterprise level customer with any escalations, project requests, break fixes, or new installs. 50% of the role will be customer facing, meeting with the customers engineering leadership team, understanding customer pain points and dealing with customer needs, and the other 50% of the role will managing the engineering team, conducting performance reviews, working on scheduling plans, and ensuring the timely delivery of the customer requests.

Skills and Requirements

-2+ years of managerial level experience of engineers (can also consider project management experience that has lead a team of engineers on delivery)

-Basic understanding of how access control, video systems, and network infrastructure work together - needs the general ability to understand specific parts of each system and how to verbalize what are requirements needed for each of those systems

-Ability to track hours on a project

-Ability to negotiate and have tough conversations with customers null
