HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION

The Contracts & Litigation Coordinator performs a variety of tasks to support the General Counsel and other Legal, Risk & Compliance departmental staff. This position reports to the Director of Contracts Administration.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Process and track contracts and various documents for legal review through document execution.

  • Track department operating and litigation budgets, including forecasting.

  • Develop and implement organizational and departmental policies and procedures, generate departmental/office reports, files, and systems as required.

  • Assist with pending claims and litigation matters.

  • Organize, compose, and maintain specialized records and documents.

  • Conduct basic legal research.

  • Draft sensitive correspondence and basic legal documents.

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Two years of work experience as a legal assistant or in a related field or equivalent specialized training required.

    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate preferred or equivalent work experience preferred.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of basic legal terminology.

  • Exercise tact and discretion and maintain confidentiality.

  • Able to operate moderately complex computer software programs.

  • Work with teams and effectively with others in a diverse environment.

  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Knowledge of Legal Tracker, PowerPlan, and Financial Edge or equivalent preferred.

  • Position Type: Hourly Full-Time Non-Exempt Position

  • Hourly Range: $28.32 to $31.32
