Philips Clinical Solutions Implementation Consultant, Diagnostic Cardiology Solutions (West Zone) in San Diego, California

As a Clinical Solutions Implementation Consultant for the Diagnostic Cardiology Solutions team the responsibilities include the planning and delivery of clinical workflow and clinical education and training, as well as system go-live support for customer-facing engagements across the DCS portfolio of products. Clinical Consultants also install/configure devices in the hospital environment.

You are responsible for

  • Pre-sales Consultative approach to ensure that optimal training services and subscriptions are included as part of overall solution

  • Developing and implementing clinical training plan in partnership with CSWC, CSPM, local sales and service teams

  • Developing and maintaining long term customer relationships in support of recurring revenue strategy, ensuring successful clinical and physician adoption of Philips solutions, and serving in a consultative role with the customer throughout the solution delivery & implementation to provide for a smooth, effective and successful implementation of Philips solutions.

  • Configuring or managing the configuration of various components and software revisions of complex Philips solutions to accommodate Application and/or operational workflow in the customer’s environment, and guides the customer in the testing of workaround, clinical integration, and new functionality of Philips solutions.

  • Analyzing the customer’s existing workflow and facilitating proper change management in the clinical or operational environment, ensuring proper testing of the system and establishing a comprehensive training plan to provide for a smooth transition of the solution to the customer

  • Identifying application issues, investigating and resolving issues or identifying potential defects, documenting and submitting those according to standard processes

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related science plus 5 years of clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, or a Master’s degree with >3 years of related experience.

  • Ideal Certifications : Certified PM (PMP), Nursing Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Change Management

  • Your skills include:

  • Clinical teaching/in-servicing experience

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

  • Philips Product Knowledge strongly preferred (Holter/cardiographs- TC70, TC50/ST80i Stress System/iECG)

  • Flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity

  • Project Management

  • High comfort level with technology and informatics concepts

  • Detail oriented and organized

  • Ability to travel throughout the west zone 80% of the time

  • Ability to be managed remotely

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $76,475.0 to $154,560.00 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
