Summary You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic Leader in the Utilities Department, San Clemente Island Division of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Responsibilities You will explain procedures, policies, written instructions, or other directives to others performing maintenance work. You will interpret instructions (e.g. building plans, specifications, blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, maintenance, repair manuals) to determine materials, tools, and equipment needed for projects. You will review potable water cross connection program requirements to identify discrepancies and code violations You will diagnose, repair, and maintain water treatment plant equipment to regulate water and sewer flow You will coordinate maintenance work assignments among staff to maintain work progress and meet schedules.
