Software Training Specialist with TS/SCICYBER - San Antonio, TX - Full Time

Position Summary

DTSI is seeking a Software Training Specialist to serve as a team lead for a service management team at Port San Antonio.  The Training Specialist will use in-depth skills to train groups of Cyber Operations and Information Technology professionals in the installation, use, and troubleshooting of customized commercial of-the-shelf software and serve as the POC for DTSI at the customer location. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of course assignments and computer-based training modules and classes

• Conduct learning needs assessment and identify requirements

• Procure, develop, and revise training courses, workshops, and needed materials

• Conduct interactive training exercises to create an effective learning environment

• Serve as the POC for the team and DTSI during planning events involving the entire team

  Qualifications

• 2+ years experience developing and delivering technical training initiatives within a mission critical environment

• Experience in team dynamic and requires in an IT service environment

• Proven experience with communicating complex information, concepts, or ideas in a confident and well-organized manner through verbal, written, and/or visual means

• Knowledge of computer networking concepts, protocols, and cybersecurity principles

• General knowledge of Offensive and Defensive Cyber Operations

  Nice-to-Have

• DoD Instructor Certification or Training

• Experience with USAF (Offensive) Cyber Operations Training guidelines

• Experience in training DoD personnel

• Experience in Agile approaches to training and development (specifically Agile Manifesto)

• Working knowledge of Linux Operation Systems

• Familiar with license management processes and software

  Education

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study; 2+ years related experience may substitute for Degree

  Security Requirements

• Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (Security+ce)
