Role Overview:

As a Shipside Operations Specialist 2, you’ll be on the front lines of resolving emergent issues and optimizing production processes. Based in San Antonio, TX, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, using your expertise in systems and operations to ensure parts, materials, and tools are aligned to meet production timelines. Your contributions will directly influence the efficiency and success of operations, ensuring aerospace projects are delivered on schedule and to the highest standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Resolve Operational Issues: Address emergent shipside challenges by troubleshooting problems with parts, materials, and tools, ensuring production activities stay on course.

• Coordinate and Communicate: Use automated systems and manual reporting to ensure parts availability, keeping the team and stakeholders informed of any changes or delays.

• Data Analysis & Problem Solving: Leverage your experience in operations analysis to monitor inventory and identify discrepancies, resolving issues swiftly.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to prioritize and expedite production activities, keeping everything moving smoothly and on time.

• Update and Track: Assist in updating tracking and visibility tools, ensuring processes remain transparent and efficient.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous Aerospace Experience : Familiarity with industry-leading aerospace practices is a must.

• Systems Proficiency : Experience with systems like Velocity, REDARS, PSDS, and IVT is essential.

• Manufacturing & Operations Expertise : At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 1+ years in operations analysis and root cause analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Experience : A background in project management will set you apart, showcasing your ability to lead initiatives and ensure timely project completion.

Pay Details: $33.05 to $41.31 per hour
