Aerotek Maintenance Technician in San Antonio, Texas

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Perform daily preventative maintenance according to the CMMS schedule (Preventative Maintenance). Perform calibrations and repairs to equipment in response to CMMS work requests, which entail troubleshooting, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid, and air pressured repairs. Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Assist in major component replacements. Utilize lock-out tag-out procedures to ensure a safe environment.

Hard Skills

  • Industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience

  • Experience with conveyors, control panels, cooling fluid transfer pumps, or fiber optic censoring systems

  • 480v experience

  • Manufacturing maintenance

  • Manufacturing equipment repair/troubleshoot

  • Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance

  • Hands-on mechanical and pneumatic experience

  • Strong mechanical aptitude

  • Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.

Work Environment

Both openings are for a Tech 2 preferably, will need some machine maintenance experience. The schedule is either Sun-Wed OR Wed-Sat, and candidates will be assigned one of these. Shifts include day shift (Sun-Wed) and night shift (5pm-5am, 4 on 3 off) with a 15% shift differential for nights. Candidates must be able to stand, walk, and use hands for up to 10-12 hours a day. Must be able to lift or push up to 50 lbs. Candidates must be able to work weekends and holidays. PPE must be worn and the designated uniform must be used. The location is Richland Hills.
