IT Quality Assurance Manager

Security Clearance Required

OTA is seeking IT Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to oversee quality assurance functions by ensuring compliance with established standards, and maintaining quality control for IT-related systems and processes. This role involves close collaboration with various departments to maintain accurate records, conduct inspections, and provide comprehensive quality assessments. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, knowledgeable in quality assurance standards, and skilled in document management and reporting.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

  • Perform QA functions and oversee programs as outlined in T.O. 0033A-1001, including but not limited to: Quality Assurance, Communications Systems Maintenance Records, Communications Inspection Policy Program, Corrosion Prevention and Control (CPCP), Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) management, Technical Publications Management, Technical Order Distribution, Tool Program Management, Statement of Work and, Performance-Based Work Statement reviews, Local Work Card validation, Personnel and Equipment Evaluations, Conducting Equipment Inspections (In-Process, Acceptance, and Transfer inspections)

  • Manage and regularly update the Methods and Procedures Technical Order (MPTO) and Quality Assurance MICT (Management Internal Control Toolset) checklists to ensure alignment with QA standards

  • Conduct monthly spot inspections on all squadron MICT self-assessment checklistsReport findings and inspection results to the Self-Assessment Program Manager (SAPM) for review and necessary action

  • Provide monthly briefings to Flight Leadership and Squadron Commanding Officer (CC) on the current status of QA programs, highlighting any issues or improvements

  • Maintain all QA documentation, ensuring it is accurately recorded and stored on designated platforms, including Shared Drive and SharePoint

Required Qualifications

  • Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Minimum of 2 years Experience with T.O. 00-33A-1001

  • QARs must complete AFJQS 1DXXX-201G
