Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Assistant in San Antonio, Texas

Description

We are offering a temp to permanent employment opportunity for an organized, bilingual (English/Spanish) and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, manage incoming mail, prepare and distribute essential documents, and provide exceptional customer service to our employees. You will also be tasked with maintaining our computer systems, organizing meetings, and compiling reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for employee inquiries and provide accurate information.

• Efficiently handle incoming mail and distribute it to the appropriate recipients.

• Generate and distribute necessary documents to the relevant parties.

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all employees within the organization.

• Liaise with benefit vendors and administrators to ensure smooth operations.

• Update and input data into our computer systems.

• Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings as required.

• Generate reports and spreadsheets and prepare data presentations.

• Ensure all files are kept up-to-date and organized.

• Utilize problem-solving skills to identify, address, and resolve issues promptly.

• Communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, with employees and HR management team.

• Analyze and present numerical data in a resourceful manner.

• Prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently.

• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate high levels of integrity at all times.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources role

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Knowledge of Ceridian software

• Experience with HRMS

• Proficiency in About Time software

• Experience in auditing

• Ability to conduct background checks

• Understanding of benefit functions

• Strong customer service skills

• Fluency in Spanish language

• Experience in the construction industry TalentMatch®
