Description We are searching for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team. This role is based in San Antonio, Texas, and operates within the banking industry. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be tasked with providing high-quality service to end users, both remotely and on-site. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Offer hands-on assistance to internal staff, including maintaining hardware and software support.

• Utilize both internal and external resources such as knowledge bases, manuals, support sites, and vendors to answer queries and solve issues.

• Accurately document and record all details related to service requests or issues, including categorization and priority, into the IT service desk tool.

• Provide remote assistance through the IT service desk tool and other platforms.

• Use your experience with Active Directory and O365 to enhance service delivery.

• Monitor and take action on customer accounts as necessary.

• Efficiently process customer credit applications.

• Maintain accurate records of customer credit. Requirements

• Proven experience in a Desktop Support Analyst role or similar technical support role

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Active Directory

• Proficient in managing and resolving Service Desk Tickets

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical users

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• Familiarity with multiple operating systems and platforms

• Up-to-date knowledge of latest IT and software trends

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with end users

• Willingness to stay updated on current technological advancements for continuous knowledge development

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
