Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX one of the system’s nine acute care hospitals. This facilityis a 378-bed facility with 12 operating suites, and a dedicated building Suzell Waller Women’s Pavilion to mothers and their babiesservices and many neighborhoods and businesses that border our centralized location.

Position will report to General Manager and ideal candidate will:

• Be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstratea great clinical knowledge base;

• have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development;

• Hold a highly visible role interacting with our client and represents the department on medical, nursing and interdisciplinary committees;

• provide operational oversight of the clinical nutrition department;

• work as part of the clinical team and play an integral role with a mission to exceed client satisfaction through the application of Sodexo programs;

• also assist the department in monitoring all Patient Satisfaction indicators (tray audits, host audits, meal rounds & assessments;

• work closely with Nursing in Patient Satisfaction arena.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)(Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, a master’s degree will be required)

Basic Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework

Basic Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.

Credentials Requirement:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

• Specialty credential in area(s) of focused management practice, as applicable
