Robert Half Audit Manager in San Antonio, Texas

Description

We are in the market for an Audit Specialist based in San Antonio, Texas, for a short term Contract opportunity where the chosen candidate will be involved in auditing processes, primarily for a government contractor. This role involves a mix of on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out external financial audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Utilize Thomson Reuters series of products: Engagement CS, and PPC Products for the checklist.

• Develop and execute audit plans, and participate in audit sampling and testing.

• Financial Statement Preparation in accordance with GAAP.

• Conduct Single Audit engagements as per the set guidelines.

• Prepare and manage Audit PBC lists for auditing procedures.

• Ensure all audit activities adhere to external audit standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar audit specialist role

• Proven knowledge and experience in Auditing in a CPA firm

• Experience using Thomson Reuters Software - Engagement CS

• Experience using PPC Products

• Ability to develop and implement Audit Plans

• Experience in Single Audits

• Experience in creating and managing Audit PBC lists

• Proven ability to handle External Audit
