Our client, a dynamic organization in the media industry , is seeking an AP Specialist to join their team. As an AP Specialist, you will be part of the accounting department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: AP Specialist

Location: San Antonio, TX

Pay Range: $18/Hour + Benefits

Contract Duration: 90 Days Contract to Hire

Job Function:

  • Organize and process a large volume of invoices (averaging 100 – 200 invoices per day).

  • Quality check scanned invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Research vendor statements, past due notices, and unidentified mail.

  • Perform basic clerical duties related to the accounting department.

  • Interface with all levels of the organization and manage expectations effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.

  • Beginner-level Excel skills.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

  • Team player qualities, including reliability and adaptability.
