Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Teacher to support our 2-year-old classroom. This individual will play a critical role in the development of our young students, helping them grow academically, socially, and emotionally. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with lead teachers and other staff to create a nurturing and stimulating environment, while contributing to the delivery of high-quality early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field trips to enhance students learning experiences.
- Utilize psychological assessment tools to evaluate students' developmental needs and capabilities.

- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and their families.
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback for growth.
- Maintain accurate educational records, reports, and files.
- Ensure classroom discipline and maintain a safe and supportive environment for children.
- Manage classroom activities, including art, drama, music, and other creative learning experiences.
- Monitor students health and emotional well-being, detecting signs of distress or illness.
- Organize esteem-building activities to foster students' self-confidence and social skills.
- Develop and implement strategies to address student learning challenges.
- Use early childhood education techniques to enhance classroom engagement.
- Support students with mental or emotional challenges through adaptive teaching methods.
- Help students with daily activities, such as eating, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Collaborate with parents and fellow educators to create developmentally appropriate programs.
- Supervise and support student involvement in extra-curricular activities.
- Organize social behavior learning activities to foster positive social interaction.
- Ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling during educational activities.
- Promote healthy eating habits and classroom behavior.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience working with young children (preferably in a classroom setting).
Strong knowledge of early childhood development and educational techniques.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with children.
First aid/CPR certification (required).
Must be 18 years or older.
Must be able to pass a background check.
