Stadler US Inc. seeks Final Assembly Team Lead (multiple positions) in Salt Lake City, UT.

·       Oversee and assist with assembling electrical or electronic units and systems, using mainly hand tools.

·       Perform assembly of systems, mechanical systems, harness preparation, cable installation and wiring equipment.

·       Maintain a safe work environment by following Stadler's safety procedures at all times.

·       Perform assemblies and hardware installation such as circuit breakers and electrical panels.

·       Oversee and assist with the adjustment, repair, or replacement of electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

·       Position, align, or adjust workpieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.

This position supervises 8 subordinate employees in the roles of: Electrical Final Assembler I,II,III Mechanical Final Assembler, I,II,III.

Requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, plus 2 years of rolling stock assembly (or related) experience. Additionally, position requires 2 years of experience with each of the following:

1.     Rolling stock experience.

2.     assembling parts, fittings, or subassemblies on rolling stock, using layout tools, hand tools, power tools, or fasteners, such as bolts, screws, rivets, or clamps.

3.     reading blueprints, illustrations, specifications to determine layouts, sequences of operations, or identities or relationships of parts.

4.     adjusting, repairing, reworking, or replacing parts or assemblies to ensure proper operation.

5.     conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
