Collects fees or payments from customers purchasing goods or services. Prepares appropriate documentation to record transactions.Within the framework of University policy, the Cashier has the authority to carry out transactions related to the collection of payment for fees, fines, tickets, and purchases, and to give directions and respond to general questions. The Cashier is responsible for handling and safekeeping of cash during the shift. Requests for exceptions to policy are referred to the supervisor.
