Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator with experience in Apex development. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Salesforce administration and development, with the ability to customize, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions that align with our business objectives.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Salesforce Administration:

o Configure and maintain Salesforce environments, including user management, security settings, and data management.

o Create and manage custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts.

o Ensure data integrity and implement data validation rules and processes.

• Apex Development:

o Design, develop, and deploy Apex classes, triggers, and lightning web components to extend Salesforce functionality.

o Write and optimize SOQL and SQL queries to retrieve and manipulate Salesforce data.

o Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Apex code and Salesforce configurations.

• Collaboration and Support:

o Able to understand requirements and translate those into working solutions.

o Provide ongoing support and training to users, ensuring they are equipped to utilize Salesforce effectively.

o Familiarity with documenting and diagramming technical solutions (i.e. ERD’s, UML , DFD’s)

o Monitor and manage Salesforce releases and updates to ensure smooth operation and compatibility with custom developments.

Minimum Qualifications

Require a bachelor’s degree in a related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience), and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences

• Experience and Skills:

o Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator with 2+ years of experience.

o Experience in Apex development, including hands-on experience with triggers, design patterns, integrations and writing test classes.

o Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Certifications:

o Salesforce Administrator certification is required.

o Salesforce Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II certification and/or JavaScript certification are highly preferred or willing to obtain Platform Developer 1 certification in the first 6 months of employment.
