Job Description

The Senior Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist is responsible for driving process improvements across multiple departments, with an emphasis on managing administrative tasks and documentation, coordinating projects, and effectively communicating progress and results. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can lead CI initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on documentation, scheduling, reporting, and coordination. As a primary liaison between CI teams, management, and stakeholders, the Senior CI Specialist must exhibit exceptional organizational and communication skills to ensure continuous progress toward operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Administrative Oversight: * Coordinate, document, and manage the workflow for all CI projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery of results. * Maintain records of CI initiatives, including project charters, timelines, and KPIs, ensuring they are regularly updated and accessible to relevant stakeholders. * Prepare and present project summaries, status updates, and final reports, tailoring the communication style to meet the needs of diverse audiences. * Project Coordination and Facilitation: * Schedule and organize meetings, kaizen events, workshops, and training sessions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to maximize participation and engagement. * Monitor project milestones and deadlines, proactively identifying and addressing any delays or resource needs. * Support data collection, analysis, and visualization efforts to measure the effectiveness of CI initiatives and present findings in a clear, actionable format. * Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: * Serve as the primary point of contact for CI initiatives, ensuring alignment between department heads, team leads, and CI management. * Develop and implement communication strategies that enhance understanding and support for CI projects across the organization. * Use various communication tools and channels (presentations, reports, dashboards) to clearly convey CI goals, methodologies, and achievements. * Continuous Improvement Advocacy: * Promote a culture of continuous improvement by providing administrative support for training programs, maintaining CI materials, and ensuring accessibility of resources. * Assist in identifying and implementing best practices, including Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies, and support teams in achieving sustainable improvements.

Experience/Education/Skills

Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operations, or a related role, with a demonstrated focus on continuous improvement and project coordination responsibilities. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a concise, clear, and organized manner. * High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana) is preferred. * Expertise with CI methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S) is a plus; Green Belt certification is required. * Proven track record of managing multiple projects, demonstrating organizational skills and a strong attention to detail.
