The University of Utah School of Medicine Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) is inviting applications for a Research Associate position. We are specifically seeking applicants with interest and experience in stroke rehabilitation to help grow our research program in quality of life post-stroke. We will consider applicants with a PhD degree in any related field. This individual will participate primarily as a collaborator on stroke rehabilitation research teams, though other collaborations may be possible. It is expected that this individual will be active in contributing to project development and execution, dissemination efforts (publications and presentations), and grant application submissions. Strong writing skills are necessary, and prior experience with dissemination and grantsmanship are highly desired.Position Available: Research Associate in PMR; full-time (12-month) position starting September 1, 2024.This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated requirements. We protect our patients, co-workers, and community by requiring all patient-sensitive employees to be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy.
