Patient care in the Division of Surgical Oncology, Breast SurgeryCome join our collegial, patient-centered practice at a world class institution. The Advanced Practice Clinician (physician assistant/nurse practitioner) role in the Division of Surgical Oncology, Breast Surgery provides care to patients in a University Health Sciences/Huntsman Cancer Center clinic and hospital unit. Individual will provide care for patients withbenign breast disease, acute breast issues (abscess), undiagnosed lumps, high-risk breast lesions, and breast cancer. Responsibilities of this role include participating in operative first assist, preoperative and postoperative care and treatment of breast disease in the outpatient setting. Participation in the education of residents, medical students, nursing students, and APC students is expected. The individual will have the additional opportunity to develop new clinical services. The Breast surgery team currently consists of 5 Attending Surgeons and 1 APC.
