AMERICAN CYBER SYSTEMS INC Program Manager, Project Management Office in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

We are seeking a skilled and experienced *Program Manager, Project Management Office *(PMO) to join our Global Professional Services organization. Reporting to the Director, Professional Services, this individual contributor will play a crucial role in the evolution of the PMO. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining project management methodologies, planning, executing, and monitoring safety software and Intravenous (IV) infusion device projects, managing budgets, and timelines, and mentoring Project Managers.

Your expertise in developing project management frameworks, spearheading continuous quality improvements initiatives for on-market and new products, and launching new products globally will be essential to your success in this role.

Expectations and Essential Responsibilities

  • Enhance the Project Management Office, designing the framework for effective project delivery and governance, including relevant processes, policies, and tools.
  • Develop and maintain effective project management methodologies to drive successful project delivery and ensure consistency across all projects.
  • Identify and scope opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, improve quality, and implement scalable solutions
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines, while identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Take ownership of the project portfolio, prioritizing projects based on business objectives and resource availability.
  • Educate employees on the project methodology and promote adoption across Professional Services, fostering a culture of effective project management.
  • Lead the roll-out of the project methodology to global teams, ensuring standardization and best practices are implemented wor ldwide.
  • Partner with teams across the organization and multiple programs to source, allocate, and coordinate resources by driving critical prioritization discussions.
  • Manage and deliver results on complex programs and related projects across multiple organizations.
  • Create metrics reporting to drive both operational and program improvements that define business needs.
  • Drive adoption of project management software, dashboards, and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into project status, risks, and financials.
  • Generate comprehensive on-boarding tools and information sources to enable new hires to get up to speed quickly.
  • Cultivate a culture of excellence and elevating project management competencies across the organization via learning and best practice forums to enhance skills and capabilities of project management teams.

Education and Experience

  • BS degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. PMP certification or equivalent an asset.
  • Minimum of 8+ years in project management, with at least 4 years of experience in a mentor or leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing project management frameworks for global organizations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
  • Experience working cross functionally wit h tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience using data and insights to develop targeted programmatic efforts to address problems and opportunities/
  • Self-sta rter, intellectually curious and resourceful when faced with limited options.
  • Experience acting independently across competing priorities.
  • Must be willing and able to travel 10%.
  • Must be comfortable with new technologies.

This role is based remotely; the incumbent may be remote in any state other than Colorado; California; Connecticut; Montana, Maine or New York.
