About the role:
The Specialty Sales, Analyst II is responsible for engaging directly with customers to promote and sell products. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, suggesting appropriate solutions, and developing sales strategies to build and maintain customer relationships. By effectively communicating product benefits and adhering to industry standards, this role supports Takeda's mission to improve patient health.
How you will contribute:
Engage with clients using basic selling techniques to promote product
Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions
Develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations, and conduct product demonstrations
Create medium to long-term sales plans and strategies to grow and diversify customer relationships
Manage customer accounts following strict protocols to maintain professional relationships
Navigate organizational structures and competitive landscapes using established guidelines
Work independently with limited supervision, managing projects and processes
Skills and qualifications:
Utilizes basic selling techniques as per guidelines to engage with clients and promote products.
Applies fundamental biotechnology principles in discussions, adhering to provided frameworks.
Understands the basics of Diabetes Mellitus to inform discussions and product positioning.
Engages in basic information exchange using clear communication strategies.
Employs predefined influencing strategies to persuade and educate clients.
Creates and delivers presentations using standard templates and guidelines.
Discusses oncology-related products with foundational knowledge of cancer treatment protocols.
Navigates organizational structures and competitive landscapes using established guidelines.
Manages customer accounts following strict protocols to maintain professional relationships.
Demonstrates basic knowledge of medical devices, following strict operational guidelines.
Assists in cardiology-related tasks, adhering to basic guidelines and instructions.
Makes decisions within a defined scope, following established protocols and guidelines.
As an early-career professional, you handle problems of limited scope and complexity, adhering to established policies and procedures. Your decision-making is within a defined scope, using standardized methods to analyze situations and data. You are developing knowledge of basic principles, theories, and concepts, and beginning to apply industry practices and standards. U.S. Base Salary Range:
73,600.00 - 101,200.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
