EIDE BAILLY National Tax Manager - Affordable Care Act (ACA) - Remote El in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Location: All locations in the United States Work Arrangement: Remote, Hybrid, or In-Office Typical Day in the Life A typical day in the life of a National Tax Manager focusing on the Affordable Care Act may include the following: * Consults with clients on the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and other tax specialties * Assists in the development of the national tax practice through the areas of business development and mentoring staff. * Assists in the management and delivery of client projects, including review and analysis of client data, and preparation of required calculations, supporting documents and IRS filings. * Prepares advanced tax research projects. * Provides supervision, coaching, training and performance feedback to staff. * Develops business by expanding existing relationships with clients, maintaining personal networks and participating in business and professional organizations. * Ensures timely and accurate performance on assigned projects. * Maintains compliance with project budgets, turnaround times, and deadlines. Who You Are * You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; or a JD (with LLM preferred). * You have 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance related work. Experience with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or other tax specialties is a plus * Experience working with the IRS and responding to IRS notices is a plus * You have a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus. * You are savvy in Microsoft Excel, intermediate or advanced experience required * You have excellent communication, public speaking, research and writing skills with ability to articulate complex tax issues. * You are able to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects. * You are able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients. * You are skilled in networking and developing business * You are able to work increased hours during busy season (November-March) Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship. Compensation: $95,000 - $150,000 Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
