ARUP Laboratories in Salt Lake City, Utah is hiring for full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II, 1 opening. In the Autoimmune Immunology 2 laboratory, the Medical Laboratory Scientist II will perform enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) using automated instruments and performing the methods manually. Will operate and maintain instrument platforms such as QUANTA-Lyser 240 and QUANTA-Lyser 3000. Will participate in preparing specimens for processing; establish, perform, and document quality assurance, quality control, confirm and verify results through in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instruments. Correlates, interprets and enters data based on knowledge of factors affecting test results. Requires Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or in the chemical or biological sciences; and ASCP or AAB certification as MLS or MT.
