Aerotek Machine Operator in Salt Lake City, Utah

Aerotek is currently seeking well-rounded candidates to interview for a Machine Operator position located in Salt Lake City, UT.

Shift:

  • Monday-Friday 6:00am- 2:30 pm ($17-20/hr)

  • (Some overtime on Saturdays)

Job Description:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operation, setup and adjustment of production equipment as required.

  • Monitors equipment, notifying supervision or setups in cases of machine or tooling malfunctions that cannot be corrected.

  • Inspects parts to assure conformance to specifications.

  • Services equipment as required (TPM)

  • Responsible for meeting established production standards.

  • Completes paperwork as required, including production, productivity, inspection, and downtime.

  • Keeps area clean, orderly, and free of obstruction.

  • Observes safety rules at all times and immediately reports unsafe conditions to department supervision.

  • Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

  • Daily attendance is a requirement of the job, as is arriving on time.

  • Overtime is expected when customer demand dictates the need.

Qualifications:

  • Machine Operator experience preferred.

  • Must be able to read shop floor drawings.

  • Must be able to lift 40+ pounds.

  • Familiar with measurement instruments.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Possess basic computer skills.
