The Office of Licensing within the

* Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)* is looking for an individual who would love to work in a supportive team environment with a focus on investigation of complaints, critical incidents, and unlicensed programs.

The

* Licensing Specialist* reviews and approves licenses of human services programs, child care programs or health care facilities. The Licensor II evaluates and investigates complaints of non-compliance to ensure standards are met, renders assistance to new providers, and assess treatment plan and program quality. May require professional licensure for licensing of certain facilities or providers. May evaluate life safety and fire code compliance of facility construction plans with the authority of a Deputy State Fire Marshall. Maintains a current list of licensed providers; provides information regarding child care to interested parties upon request.
