The Wang lab in the department of medicinal chemistry is seeking a lab technician. The Wang lab develops and uses novel biochemical tools to study the regulatory installation, recognition, dynamics, and functions of important chemical modifications on RNA, including N6-methyladenosine, pseudouridine and inosine.The lab technician is expected to perform technical procedures in a research laboratory under minimal supervision by applying standard scientific techniques and analytical principles. Records observations and measurements and reports results. May be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining cleanrooms and equipment. May assists with receipt and inspection of raw materials, and ordering and stocking of materials and equipment.
