ASSOCIATED FOOD STORES, INC. IT Project Manager / Programming Supervisor in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah
JOB SUMMARY:
We seek an experienced IT Project Manager / Programming Supervisor to lead our programming team and manage multiple projects focused on designing, developing, testing, and implementing new and existing systems for internal and external use. This role requires a proactive leader who can maintain strong relationships with vendors, team members, and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a positive work environment, ensuring team success through effective training and resource allocation, and staying current with the latest industry trends. This job opening is related to our "administrative" business units. This includes Accounting, Finance, Payroll, and HR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage IT projects while overseeing the programming team and daily operations.
- Continually develop personal and team knowledge and skills through training and education.
- Assist the team in troubleshooting tasks and assignments, guiding as needed.
- Maintain a positive work environment for team members and stakeholders.
- Analyze current systems and processes to identify and address company needs.
- Communicate and coordinate with leadership on departmental needs and strategic direction.
- Work on special projects and research tasks as requested by leadership.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular on-site attendance is required to ensure team collaboration and project oversight.
Position Requirements for IT Project Manager / Programming Supervisor:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and training are preferred.
- Experience and/or education in accounting, finance, payroll, and HR is preferred.
- Proven leadership abilities.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with high attention to detail.
- Previous programming experience is required, including a thorough understanding of all aspects of the programming process.
