Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming telephone calls and emails from potential customers regarding the available catastrophe insurance products, including inquiries about the application process, the benefits of the insurance, and other related questions

• Follow up on policy quotes and applications submitted or started by potential customers; communicate with such customers to answer questions and explain the insurance products

• Service active policies by handling endorsements, mortgagee requests, renewals, and other day-to-day policy management

• Respond to and resolve customers’ needs, concerns, and questions

• Address all customer interactions in a friendly and positive manner

• Fulfill policy documentation and processing in accordance with requirements from regulators and coverage providers

• Evaluate needs of current and potential customers, then recommend options

• Provide support on various tasks as assigned

Skills and Experience Required:

• At least one year of insurance customer service experience

• Knowledge of insurance practices

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to connect with people in a professional setting

• Friendly and responsive demeanor during telephone calls

• Ability to collaborate with various team members and management

• Proficient computer skills

• Property and casualty insurance license
