Job Purpose:

 

Our Facility Solutions Sales Specialist will be responsible for supporting the field sales organization in growing and closing profitable sales of facility solutions products. They will also help drive success and make improvements in alignment with the group strategy for increasing profitability, growing sales & margins, and reducing costs.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Provide feedback to Facility Solutions organization from the Packaging organization on how to extend/improve Facility Solutions capabilities. Ensure that Facility Solutions opportunities in packaging accounts is maintained with appropriate dollar value to help achieve growth opportunities for that territory; work within Salesforce.com environment to document and communicate opportunities and utilize pipeline management and CRM capabilities accordingly. Be able to "project manage" the Facility Solutions portion of the selling effort where the primary rep is from Packaging - back into Facility Solutions organization or to Facility Solutions suppliers. Visit customers and presents Facility Solutions value proposition in conjunction with Packaging reps. Assist packaging sales leaders and reps to find new Facility Solutions opportunities (both existing and new accounts) and to improve profitability of existing Facility Solutions business within current accounts. Become deeply knowledgeable about Veritiv's Facility Solutions offerings, capabilities, and strategies and have the ability to communicate to our Packaging sales leaders, sellers and customers. Work closely with our packaging sellers to develop action plans in their pipeline reviews and create new opportunities.

Work Experience:

 

3-5 years of related job experience.

 
 

Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.

 
 

Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.

 
 

Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).

Education:

 

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 

Physical Requirements: A significant portion of the job responsibilities will require computer work that involves the continuous use of the fingers, hands, wrists, and sitting for long periods of time. The position also requires frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds. The position requires work in an office as well as travel to customers, suppliers, group meetings, etc.
