Position Description:
Our Field Service Representatives experience a unique opportunity to employ their technical experience by collaborating with healthcare professionals and leading technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for performing software upgrades on diagnostic devices found in operating rooms and surgical suites, while delivering exceptional customer service. This is a 100% travel position in which you will be traveling to facilities throughout the United States and will often require working evening/night shifts.
Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on-site hospital staff.
Performing software upgrades on diagnostic devices found in operating rooms and surgical suites
Conduct routine checks and records data from product tests after installation and configuration.
Document and submit daily data while maintaining high standards of product support quality documentation.
Six-month commitment requiring full time availability and the ability to travel locally, regionally, and nationally for assignments.
Complete other duties at the discretion of management.
Job Requirements:
Associate degree in biomedical or computer related field or equivalent related technical support of PC experience preferred
Must have intermediate trouble shooting abilities in the disciplines of electronics, mechanics and electromechanical systems
Experience as a military technician, computer technician or other complex electronics technician preferred
Experience supporting automation equipment in a healthcare setting a plus
A+ certification preferred
Must be able and willing to work evening and night shifts as needed.
Must be able to lift up to 70lbs. This position requires a considerable amount of pushing, pulling, stooping, bending and lifting
Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer support
Most possess a valid drivers license and reliable method of transportation to assigned sites
Ability to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including providing proof of vaccination status is required.
Must be within 45 minutes - 1 hour of a major airport. Candidates within 30 miles of major airport preferred. Weekly travel required.

The potential base pay range for this role is $28.00 - $30.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
