The Equity Financial Reporting Analyst will play a key role within the Business Solutions Group at Moss Adams.
The Equity Financial Reporting Analyst will work closely with the team in the implementation and support of applications that deliver financial reporting solutions to clients offering equity-based compensation. The role involves working with cross-functional teams, gathering and analyzing data, and assisting in the implementation of reporting processes and tools to ensure compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and other relevant standards, including those needed in acquiring the Certified Equity Professional designation.
The Equity Financial Reporting Analyst will also be coordinating with clients to gather and refine product requirements while supporting the overall team’s success.

Responsibilities:
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for equity-based compensation reporting and financial processes
Assist in preparing equity-based financial reports and data visualizations to support business objectives
Supports the implementation and testing of automated reporting tools and systems
Ability to analyze and troubleshoot financial reporting applications to ensure reliable performance
Works closely with development teams to ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements
Maintains documentation for processes, requirements, and solutions, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders
Participates in team planning, reviews, and other collaborative activities to contribute to successful delivery
Assists in monitoring changes in financial reporting standards and their potential impact on equity-based compensation processes
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
Intermediate experience in SQL or other analytical database language, such as Python or R, with an emphasis on querying, complex joins, data manipulation, and report generation
Experience in business analysis, financial reporting, or a related field (internship experience will be considered)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Basic knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Exposure to project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) through coursework or internships
Experience with equity compensation platforms or financial reporting systems (a plus but not required)
Ability to travel as needed, approximately 10% – 25%
