We value integrity, responsibility, community, civility, accountability, and fairness.The University of Utah seeks a highly motivated, student-centered, and dedicated professional to serve as the Director for Student Accountability. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Students, the Director is responsible for supervising and managing the student accountability systems by providing a philosophical, developmental, and educational context for student support and behavior on campus. The Director must strategically lead these programs, balancing the needs of individual students with the needs of the community. This position is responsible for providing leadership, training, support and guidance to members of the campus community. The Director will provide support in addressing behavioral misconduct and/or assisting students affected by another's behavior.Additionally, the Director will serve as the Office of the Dean of Student's liaison between Housing and Residential Education and Commuter Services. The Director will provide cross-departmental leadership to ensure that student accountability processes are being appropriately applied, monitored, and reviewed, while also providing trainings on the student accountability process. The Director will work with the ODOS team and other campus stakeholders to create processes that adhere to national best practice standards.
