The Athletics Academic Advisor will provide a high level of academic support in an industry-leading and progressive academic support team. The Athletics Academic Advisor will utilize professional advising and guidance skills to manage all aspects of academic support for assigned Football and Olympic sport programs/student-athletes while monitoring academic progress, NCAA eligibility requirements, and progress towards graduation. The Athletics Academic Advisor will be required to exhibit ongoing and open communication with student-athletes, coaches, academic services team, athletics department staff, and university faculty/staff. The Athletics Academic Advisor will contribute to design, implementation and evaluation of programs that contribute to the advising mission of the academic unit. A thorough understanding of the University of Utah, Big 12 Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations is required
