Job Description:
L3Harris is currently seeking a Program Scheduler for Avionics products. The successful candidate will be an organizational support resource for the commerical avionics global support team. Candidate will work closely with stratgic support planners, data analysts, product managers and inventory management team members on global support strategic projects.
Essential Functions:
Supports project activity and ensures business objectives are met.
Identifies risks in schedule deficiencies, reporting to management including project cost monitoring to prevent shortages and overruns.
Monitors schedules that clearly show the flow of work through various departments or workstations.
Coordinates flow of work and material within or between departments of an established project schedule, distributes project information with all levels of the project team.
Works with Project Manager to plan and manage project tasks.
Work with cross-functional teams to complete project tasks on-time and within project timelines.
With Project Manager oversight, can prepare and deliver the Project Integrated Master Schedule deliverables.
Coordinates with Project Analyst in preparing data that provides visibility needed for internal revies, meetings and audits.
Schedule and facilitate project planning meetings.
Support Project Analyst with development of document management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Manufacturing Operations or related fields.
Ability to maintain accurate schedules across mutiple projects simutaneously.
Ability to communicate to multiple levels of a business hierachy.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with Microsoft Project and/or Integrated Master Scheduling software.
PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification.
Lean and/or Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt Certification.
Prior experience with Microsoft Visio software.
