Job Summary
The David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah has an opening for one full-time administrative program coordinator who will be supporting both the Department of Management and the Department of Marketing. This position will benefit from a self-starter who learns new processes quickly and can multi-task to meet a variety of deadlines. Experience with campus processes is a plus. Responsibilities
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Assist with the establishing and maintaining department budgets.
Process and reconcile accounts for departmental purchases, employee travel and reimbursement
Manage human resource and payroll processes
Support faculty in their Retention, Promotion, Tenure ( RPT ) process
Assist with scheduling of academic classes offered within the department
Coordinate updates for the department website and catalog information
Coordinate all visits, meetings and conferences for the department
Advise faculty, staff and students on department, college and university policies and procedures. 9. Assists with department projects and support as needed
Basic office duties such as preparing correspondence, ordering supplies, processing mail, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
