The hotel maintenance technician is an individual who carries out daily tasks of preventative and corrective maintenance activities on HVAC systems, appliances, room PM\'s and other duties as well, this position is 2PM-10PM.

- Preventative maintenance programs on rooms and regularly updates record files.

- Works together with Suitekeeping and other departments within the hotel.

- Engages in flexible work schedules to be able to perform well during emergencies.

- Assists in remodeling and construction of new projects as required.

- Keeps all mechanical areas in neat and orderly condition.

- Carries out inspections of public areas, guestrooms and all indoor and outdoor areas of the hotel.

- Cleans and maintains the swimming pool and hotel grounds.

-Shampoo carpets and furniture as needed.

Requirements:

- Basic skills in electrical, mechanical and plumbing.

- Computer skills.

- Pleasant demeanor and positive attitude.

- Ability to handle internal and external clients, guests and vendors with a high degree of professionalism.

- Ability to kneel, bend, carry, walk, stoop, climb and lift up to 60lbs.

- Ability to safely work on ladders and other necessary equipment.

- Ability to effectively manage stressful situations with a sense of urgency.

- Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen.
