POSITION: 6th Grade Science Teacher - Middle School

Beginning date of employment: August 4, 2025

DUTIES: * Teaches middle school science classes * Ability to work with and create a positive rapport with students and the general public * Demonstrate successful teaching experience with middle school aged students as well as a personal commitment to constant improvement as a teacher * A commitment to continuing enhancement of the learning experience * A commitment to working within the philosophy, standards, curriculum, scope, and sequence of the Science department * Perform other duties as appropriate in support of the middle school program

REQUIREMENTS: * Must verify past teaching experience * Must hold a valid Colorado Department of Education of teaching certificate or qualify for an Alternative License.

PREFERRED SKILLS: * MA in Science is preferred * Experience with Advanced Placement is preferred

WAGE: $42,500/ Year * Salary is based on a 156 day work calendar.

SHIFTS: Full-time - 32 hours per week
