Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Location: Salem, Oregon (On-Site Only)

Hourly Pay Rate: $17.00

Position Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week, potential for OT)

Hours: 5AM-7PM, 7 days/week (flexibility required)

Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide operational and technical assistance to end users of Onity hospitality and commercial products. The ideal candidate will have experience with hardware and software systems, basic SQL scripting, and a background in customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up hardware and software systems; read and edit SQL scripts; work with databases (scripts, queries, stored procedures, QA).

  • Provide technical support via phone and email, resolving issues promptly while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of electronic products, billing processes, and database applications related to the dial-in process.

  • Follow established procedures to ensure uniform support and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage outbound calling schedules and respond to emergency requests timely.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Technical Support, Call Center, or Help Desk roles.

  • Basic knowledge of IP Networking and Windows PC systems (Windows 7-10).

  • Familiarity with SQL Database reading and editing preferred.

  • Must be available to work weekends and evenings.

  • Strong listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively over the phone.

  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills.

  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.
