Fujifilm Technical Marketing Manager in Salem, Oregon

Overview

We are hiring a Technical Marketing Manager - Motion Production . TheTechnical Marketing Manager – Motion Productionis responsible for executing technical marketing strategies that will enhance product adoption and market growth for motion production products. This role involves collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to effectively communicate technical features and benefits to target audiences. The Technical Marketing Manager will also oversee field testing, conduct competitive analysis, and support field marketing efforts by collaborating with a team of Field Marketing Technicians. The position reports directly to the Director of Technical Marketing – Motion Production.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, consists of six operating divisions. The Imaging Division provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables; inkjet consumables; digital printing equipment, along with service and support; personalized photo products fulfillment; film; one-time-use cameras; and the popular INSTAX® line of instant cameras, smartphone printers, instant film, and accessories . The Electronic Imaging Division markets its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories to provide a variety of content creation solutions for both still and moving imagery. The Optical Devices Division provides optical lenses for the broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial markets, and also markets binoculars and other optical imaging solutions. The Graphic Communication Division utilizes its extensive industry knowledge to develop fully supported traditional and digital print solutions for industries including commercial print, wide format, and packaging with its comprehensive line of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software. The Industrial Products Division delivers new products derived from Fujifilm technologies including data storage tape products, including OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters and gas separation membranes. The Non-Destructive Testing Division delivers radiography solutions to ensure high accuracy inspection of transportation infrastructure, and assets within aerospace, and oil and gas industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. General Technical Marketing Support:

  2. Implement comprehensive technical marketing strategies for motion production products that align with overall business goals and objectives.

  3. Identify and communicate the key technical features and benefits of motion production products by creating compelling technical marketing messages that resonate with target audiences.

  4. Product Launches and Campaigns:

  5. Contribute to and orchestrate the technical aspect of product launches, including the creation of technical documentation, positioning documents, presentations, product demonstrations, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and videos, to educate and engage potential customers.

  6. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that highlight the technical capabilities of motion production products and ensure technical accuracy and consistency in all marketing materials.

  7. Customer and Partner Engagement:

  8. Act as the primary technical liaison for key customers and partners, providing technical support and addressing inquiries related to motion production cameras and lenses.

  9. Conduct technical training sessions and workshops for the internal field marketing team, customers, partners, and internal teams to enhance product understanding and adoption.

  10. Market Research and Analysis:

  11. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

  12. Analyze technical marketing performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

  13. Cross-functional Collaboration:

  14. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to inform product development and ensure technical marketing efforts are aligned with product development and sales strategies.

  15. Provide technical input and support for sales and marketing initiatives, including trade shows, events, and online marketing activities.

  16. Technical Expertise:

  17. Stay updated on the latest advancements in cinema camera and broadcast optics technology and industry standards.

  18. Serve as the in-house technical expert for motion production cameras and lenses, providing guidance and support to internal teams.

  19. Brand Building:

  20. Enhance the company’s reputation as a leader in motion production technology by participating in industry events, speaking engagements, and contributing to industry publications.

  21. Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, media, and technical communities.

  22. Field Marketing:

  23. Participate in the execution of comprehensive field marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness for motion production cameras and lenses.

  24. Ensure that field marketing activities align with overall marketing strategies and objectives.

Required Skills/Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (advanced degree preferred)

  • 5+ years work experience in a fast paced and highly competitive sales environment.

  • Ability to research and analyze various different types of data and make sound business judgments focused on achieving results.

  • Ability to prioritize work and sales opportunities
