Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

The General Laborer will assist in various roles throughout the plant, primarily in the tote cleaning department. This position involves working with hands in a consistent, fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in a non-climate controlled and dusty environment, and handle paint fumes and moderate noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various tasks around the plant and facilities

• Operate machinery and equipment as needed

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

• Perform manual labor tasks such as lifting, moving, and stacking materials

• Support production processes by preparing materials and supplies

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow

Work Environment

This position is located in a paint manufacturing facility with moderate noise levels, paint fumes, and a dusty, dirty work environment. The role is seasonal from February to September, with the possibility of temporary employees being brought on full-time. The workplace is non-climate controlled, requiring candidates to be comfortable in varying temperatures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
