Description nderwriter Assistant Our client is seeking an Underwriter Assistant to join their team, perfect for someone eager to advance their career in insurance.

Responsibilities: Train under the guidance of experienced underwriters. Educate agents on coverages as you acquire knowledge. Review, manage, and prioritize requests for insurance quotes. Collaborate closely with agents to gather and compile necessary information. Manage quotes and explain them to agents. Prioritize the workload of new and renewal policies. Maintain communication with agents and carriers. Submit risks to carriers. Work with carriers to find coverage for the insured.
