Job Description
The SVP, PCG (Private Client Group) Practice Management & Growth Consulting will be responsible for leading the team focused on enabling advisors and their teams to grow their practices and capabilities to fully address their clients’ most complex needs with sophisticated advice and financial solutions. The deliverables for this department include new advisor and branch professional training, teams coaching, development, and succession planning and consulting. This team creates and delivers an integrative business growth experience for the career lifecycle of financial professionals, including advisors, teams, branch leaders, and branch associates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the development and delivery of specialized consulting and training programs for new and experienced advisors, teams, branch leaders, and branch associates while leveraging best-in-class resources, programs, and materials from industry partners and external consultants to ensure the highest quality, effectiveness and impact. Focus areas include practice intelligence and innovation, advisor onboarding, team and branch professional development, succession planning, investment management processes, and private wealth management
Lead the design and execution of succession and acquisition planning strategies and programs, in collaboration with finance, human resources, and other internal partners
Lead the design, development, and delivery of training for new financial advisors through our comprehensive Advisor Mastery Program (AMP) and AMP Foundations in concert with PCG objectives
Achieve top-tier retention, asset growth, and productivity goals for both new and existing advisors
Collaborate with internal and external partners on all conference and program content
Engage in public speaking opportunities internally and externally; represent Raymond James on relevant industry committees and forums
Maintain regular communication with Senior leadership to ensure performance management practices are aligned with firm’s strategic goals
Consistent attention to innovation and industry benchmarking
Develop and deliver management reports to demonstrate results and impact
Lead, coach, and develop staff as appropriate
Partners with internal departments for other strategic technology and educational development programs
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
Advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of performance and practice management consulting
Client experience (CX) concepts, practices, and methodologies to design and support a world class client experience (with advisors as clients)
Investment, technology and product solutions concepts, practices, and procedures used in the financial services industry, is a plus
Skill in
Leading high performing teams
Leading a learning and education organization in the financial services industry
Strong leadership, coaching and consulting skills
Strong presentation, communication and public speaking skills
Developing and applying strategic performance management solutions that align with the business objectives

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) and a minimum of fifteen (15) years experience,

- Any combination of education, experience and/or training as approved by Human Resources.
Licenses/Certifications
Leadership and/or coaching certification, such as ICF is ideal but not required
Series 7, 9/10 or 24, 63, 65/66 Preferred
Travel
Travel Required: Yes, 30-70 % of the Time
