Raymond James Financial, Inc. Associate Project Manager - Marketing in Saint Petersburg, Florida
Job Description
This position will follow our hybrid work model; we expect the selected candidate to work 2 to 3 days a week ( 10 to 12 days per month) at our Saint Petersburg, FL, corporate office.
Under general supervision, you will assist in implementing agency strategies by managing marketing projects for business units, financial advisors, and other internal clients. Your responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day project management activities, conducting analysis, and performing project administration tasks across the agency. You will exercise moderate latitude and judgment while adhering to established policies, procedures, and techniques.
Responsibilities:
Supports client relations and project management by working with the agency to develop and complete small to medium-scope projects.
Assists in implementing marketing strategies by coordinating the creation and production of marketing and communications materials.
Provide input on process improvement efforts.
Gathers requirements for projects, understand traffic operations, and collaborates with appropriate resources.
Partners with account management and creative teams to drive effective execution of projects, with the goal of achieving high client satisfaction.
Administers and monitors timelines and budgets at the project level.
Builds project plans and manages small to medium-scope projects.
Manages day-to-day project management activities, including monitoring daily workflow and projects.
Assists in creating and maintaining internal project management tools/resources.
Maintains documentation and communications.
Provides support to senior project managers and department managers.
Understands business impacts associated with initiatives.
Assists in the creation of Business Case documents to communicate and prioritize initiatives.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of marketing concepts and agency processes, and project management methodology, including project management, analysis, administration, and documentation.
Organizational, planning, and time management skills – as well as a “roll up the sleeves” mentality – sufficient to independently oversee multiple projects from start to completion.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Creating and maintaining project documentation and communications.
Coordinating projects, communicating changes and progress, and completing projects on time and budget.
Demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness while applying feedback to improve performance.
Completing tasks on time or notifying the appropriate person with an alternate plan.
Collecting, researching, and analyzing data.
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications.
Proofing and editing work.
Respond to client requests and work with existing processes and formats.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Work well in individual and group problem-solving situations; with limited oversight, takes accountability for tactical client needs.
Continuously build knowledge and skills in project management.
Respond promptly to client needs, respond to requests for service and assistance, and meet commitments.
Build strong relationships across the agency; gain the confidence and trust of internal clients and agency teams.
Support and explain the reasoning for decisions, as well as include appropriate people in the decision-making process.

Deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
A minimum of one (1) year of marketing experience, preferably as a project specialist in an agency environment or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
