Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
As a Production Worker, you will operate equipment used for manufacturing and binding carbon fibers in a safe manner. You will start on the line, removing expended spools from the turners and replacing them with full ones. You will monitor the machines that bind the carbon fiber with resin, requiring strong attention to detail. This role involves loading spools of carbon fiber, performing final cutting and binding of the finished product, and eventually learning to work at the mixing station where the binding resin is mixed. The role is physically intensive and requires lifting, turning, bending, reaching, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Responsibilities
Operate equipment used for manufacturing and binding carbon fibers safely.
Remove expended spools from the turners and replace them with full ones.
Monitor machines that bind carbon fiber with resin with strong attention to detail.
Load spools of carbon fiber, which is physically intensive.
Perform final cutting and binding of the finished product.
Learn to work at the mixing station where the binding resin is mixed.
Lift, turn, bend, reach, pull, walk, and stand for extended periods.
Perform other tasks during any downtime.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift up to 30 LBS.
Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts.
Must be clean-shaven to wear a respirator.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to perform simple math.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Candidates from food service or retail are preferred.
Candidates with any kind of experience will be considered.

Work Environment
Work in a very clean, climate-controlled environment. Be prepared for the strong smell of resin. The dress code includes jeans, plain long-sleeve t-shirts (recommended), and closed-toed shoes (steel-toed boots are required). Work 12-hour shifts with a swing schedule, including two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break. Shift hours are from 5:45 am to 6:00 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Peters, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.69 - $20.09
