Insight Global Senior Project Engineer in Saint Paul, Minnesota

Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Senior Project Engineer to join our client's team, focusing on electrical data analysis and implantable hardware development. The implantable devices this individual should expect to work on are pacemakers and defibrillators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with the ability to interpret and analyze electrical test data, and present findings to drive new activities and projects. The Senior Project Engineer will possess extensive experience in both project and team management. Key responsibilities include coordinating and tracking test investigations, reviewing and summarizing electrical test data, supporting ad-hoc lab investigations, and leading failure analysis activities. The role involves supporting a team of engineers in developing implantable hardware based on the electrical data analysis this candidate discovers, evaluating and presenting test data to the team of engineers, and ensuring project closure through action plans and team follow-ups. Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis software is essential, as is the ability to understand the functionality of medical device products such as pacemakers and defibrillators. Excellent communication skills, confidence, and the ability to work with and guide a team of engineers are crucial for success in this role. The pay range for this role spans between $65.00 - 80.00 / hour depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

  • Product development experience

  • Project leadership experience

  • Data analysis experience in platforms such as Mini Tab, JMP, or Microsoft Excel

  • Proven track record of leading and closing projects * Medical device or regulated field experience

  • Electrical design background

  • Electrical testing background

  • Failure analysis experience null
