ManpowerGroup Quality Inspector in Saint Paul, Minnesota
Quality Inspector - $20-$22/hr (Open to negotiation)
Our client in Vadnais Heights, MN is looking for hardworking, motivated talent to join their team. Team atmosphere with the opportunity to grow as business grows and play shuffleboard in the break room! This position is responsible for quality inspection of products as directed by quality assurance procedures and documentation. What will you be doing?
Work effectively with engineers, technicians, leads, and floor personnel to independently resolve day-to-day issues.
Complete and document daily inspections resulting from start-ups, in-process inspection, and daily floor audits.
Review, investigate, disposition, and resolve non-conforming material issues and internal customer complaints.
Cross trained in multiple measurement techniques. Micro-vu, CMM, hand tools, microscope, spec interpretation and basic print understanding.
Other tasks as assigned by lead.
What do you bring?
Education: High School or GED
CMM Experience Required
2-3 years working in a manufacturing or an injection molding facility in a quality inspection function preferred.
SPC, GR &R, print reading and GD&T experience preferred.
Strong desire to help promote and contribute to our culture of accountability.
Good mechanical aptitude; to work independently, organize, multitask, and interpret priorities.
Strong basic math, as well as effective communications abilities.
MS Office experience required, intermediate level of Excel and Word
Knowledge of and effective application of quality tools (Scope, Calipers, etc.) strongly desired.
Walking and stair climbing is required within the office/shop areas.
Sitting, standing, turning head and torso, reaching, grasping bending, and flexing of arms and legs wrists and fingers are physical requirements.
Ability to lift 50lbs consistently unaided.
